Library In its commitment to fostering excellence in the teaching learning research experience, the Institute has established an independent, spacious, two storeyed, air-conditioned library. As one of the richest law libraries in the region, it boasts a collection of over 19,000 text and reference books, alongside an extensive array of encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other reference materials. The library subscribes to over 45 international and national legal and other journals and magazines, ensuring that students and faculty have access to the latest research and developments in their fields. Additionally, the library offers more than 17 newspapers in both English and regional vernacular languages.

To support digital learning and research, the library provides access to numerous e-sources, including Lexis Nexis Advance, SCC Online, AIR Online, EBC Reader, EDZTER (for newspapers and magazines), LiveLaw, Manupatra Online, Oxford Online, and Thomson Reuters. These e- resources can also be accessed remotely from anywhere via Knimbus remote access platform, providing convenient and flexible access to essential information and research materials.

A well-equipped computer lab with over 30 computers and free internet connectivity, including Wi-Fi further enhances the research capabilities of the library.

Managed by a team of well trained and dedicated professionals, the library regularly organizes orientation programs for students, enabling them to maximize the use of its services and resources. These initiatives ensure that students are well versed in navigating both physical and digital resources, fostering an environment of comprehensive academic support.

The library not only serves as a hub for legal research and study but also acts as a vibrant intellectual center where students and faculty can collaborate and engage in scholarly activities. With its robust collection and state of the art facilities, including high quality Godrej furniture, the Institute's library is integral to the academic and professional development of its community.

Since 2004, a budget of ₹23,660,545 has been invested in the library, ensuring continuous growth and enhancement of its resources and infrastructure.

Services Offered
The Institute's library offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support the academic and research needs of its students and faculty:

  • SLIM Library Management Software: The Institute utilizes SLIM (Software for Library Information Management) for efficient and streamlined book issue and return processes. This advanced software ensures quick transactions and accurate record keeping, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • RFID Technology: Equipped with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, the library ensures secure and efficient access to its resources. The RFID enabled door system helps in tracking and managing the library's extensive collection effectively.
  • Lab for the Visually Impaired: A newly established lab dedicated to the visually impaired provides specialized resources and assistive technologies, ensuring inclusive access to information and learning materials.
  • Optimizer Racks: The library features two optimizer racks for the chronological stacking of legal journals and reporters, ensuring organized and easy retrieval of important legal documents.
  • Reference Service: Professional staff are available to assist with reference inquiries, helping users locate and utilize various resources for their research and study needs.
  • Newspaper Clipping Service: The library offers a newspaper clipping service, providing curated clippings of significant news articles relevant to the academic and research interests of the Institute.
  • Internet Access: Free Wi- Fi access is available to students, facilitating internet searches and enhancing their ability to access online resources and information.
  • Dissertation and Term Paper Access(Institutional Repositories): Students can access e-copies of dissertations and term papers, providing valuable resources for their own research and academic work.

The library continually strives to provide an environment that supports and enriches the educational journey of its users, combining traditional resources with modern technology to meet the diverse needs of its academic community.
